Leak Reveals Upcoming "Freedom's Flame" Warbond for Helldivers 2

A recent PlayStation leak has potentially unveiled the next Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2, titled "Freedom's Flame," which is set to introduce a wealth of fire-themed content. Despite Arrowhead Game Studios' earlier announcement that it would slow down update releases to focus on quality, this new Warbond may be arriving soon.

Helldivers 2, since its unexpectedly successful launch in February, has been regularly supported with "Warbonds," themed updates that include new stratagems, weapons, armor, capes, and customization options. These updates typically cost 1,000 Super Credits (around $10 USD), though players can earn this currency through gameplay.

The last Warbond, "Viper Commandos," was released in June, with Arrowhead indicating a slower release pace moving forward. However, a recent PSN notification received by Reddit user ExoticBobcat777 suggests the next Warbond, "Freedom's Flame," is imminent. The notification, titled "Viper Commandos," mistakenly describes the upcoming Warbond centered around fire.
