Young and Fresh or Experienced?

The question in the tittle basically focuses on how do you guys like starting off in a roleplay of this universe.

 

My personal preference, I like starting as an academy student, probably on their pre-teens and then start going up from there.

Since the alpha takes place 100 years before the hidden villages, can you be an academy student without an academy? I think you can be someone's trainee or something along those lines maybe o.o

 

To answer the question though, this time around i will be starting off as a young adult with some experience under his belt.

Nah nah, I meant in general. In a normal setting could be said.

I like to allow role-play to shape my characters so I start them off relatively fresh.

The only times I have played something experienced were when I had a large understanding of the lore and the ability aspect of the class I was.
When you actually know what your character is supposed to know, its just so much more enjoyable to play experienced.

Especially when you get to harass people for being inexperienced.
Although I have a tendency to play average everything. Sometimes set myself weaker in almost all aspects except one or two.

This is something that's actually going to be quite touch and go, since we can't have people starting their characters at end-game level .

In all seriousness though, between 16-22 is probably the sweet spot, as you're not going to be allowed to start a character that already for example has a three-tomoe sharingan, so be mindful of this when creating your character!

I wouldnt be suprised if you want to make a prodigy it might have to do with some NG mechanic that transfers when you die
