MikeS 2 Posted April 10, 2020 (edited) Atsu, or Atsushi Sekai by his full name. Was the second child of Yakura and Larawen. Brother of Shaleena. Ever since he was young, Atsushi had a huge burden rest on his shoulders. The clan expected him to reach his full potential alongside his rivalling cousin Mura. The both were trained by one of the clan’s most formidable warriors Yakura, albeit he was old his experience certainly left its marks on the two boys. Atsushi and Mura grew up like this together, and always had to prove who was stronger. The two always tried to trick one another, and both sides grew experience and strength out of this. The two sparked each other’s will to get stronger and smarter. At a young age this was a healthy feud, though the older they became this became a more serious matter and their trainings together became less and less apparent. The circumstances within their two families pulled them apart. (0BB Blue Banner Night) Atsushi was as often at this hour of day still out practicing. Atsushi’s roots of practice were down here by the river his clan was located close to. He learnt the ways of the sword, fighting with a blade in each hand in combination with his water chakra nature. As a water user he knew what impact the moon had on the flow of such, thus always felt connected to it in a cheerful way. If it weren’t just an excuse to sneak out whenever it was nighttime. Usually he would sit here, calmly enjoying himself. Meditating on his water techniques or scoping out the silent nightlife that occasionally presents itself by the river’s side. But today was different, with his father dying, he was unleashing every ounce of strength he had. Atsushi used his swords relentlessly and left little of his wooden opponent, a way of griefing whilst still trying to soak up the reality. Perhaps a way to escape his wonder for the following future. One of his swings had so much force behind it that his blade got stuck in his wooden target, and that wasn’t unexpected. During this moment he didn’t even bother to pull it out, it was of no use anyway. No matter how much he swung, the situation wasn’t going to improve itself. Now that he was all by himself, he allowed his emotions to affect him some more. “Damn it dad..” He sighed out, as his hands stroked underneath his eyes to settle his mind and thought. His mind already unsettled, was only about to get worse as he hears a shout in the distance. “Lightning?” He caught himself saying, wondering about the origin of such. He reclaimed his weapons and looked up at the skies. It came from his home, what could have happened over there? He was surely not going to be waiting around and found his way through the familiar scenery that he could traverse within moments even without the need of his sights. The young boy leaped straight into a nightmare as he saw the burning banners of his own clan. A moment that was about to change his life forever...
