“We cannot be certain of the origin of chakra or “the energies”. While the first real reports came from the Great War it isn’t unreasonable to assume that people have harbored powers like this much longer than the founding of even Notchi, what we consider the beginning of civilization. Further research is needed to fully understand the origin of chakra. As of the founding of Konoha our understanding is still very limited. As this country grows around us it is not too far fetched to believe the chakra will grow with us.”
