Game crashed, now its reinstalling.

Hello,

I logged in for the first time and tried to exit windowed mode and go full screen. 
Suddenly the game crashed and upon relaunching the ShinobiLauncher.exe it's trying to resynchronize the game files at the speed it basically took to download the game. 
Is this normal? Will I have to spend an hour or so every time I try to relog? Or am i experiencing a bug?

change your settings in the login screen , not in game.

and the esynchronizing should be way faster then the download
