Hey there ! I'm making this post to introduce to everyone a must-have for any RP player : Total RP 2.

Made by Telkostrasz for World of Warcraft WotLK, this add-on offers a more in-depth customization of your character infos, such as RP first and last names, titles, custom classes title, creating custom quests and items for player-made events, and much more !
It also gives the opportunity for players to play sounds/music for their RP's ambiances. All in all, if you plan on doing some RP on the server, this addon will be your best friend.

Total RP is an addon improving several aspects of the role-play in World of Warcraft.

It allow you to give more information to your character, like first and last names, title, age, origin, physical description, alignment and even mood.
You also can give names and description to all your mounts and pets !
These informations are public for everyone how has the add-on.
It's compatible with FlagRSP/MyRP/ImmersionRP users !

It also allow you to create items and documents who can be given to other users and be used by them.

Total RP also improve the chat system (OOC, emote and spam detection), allow you to play every sound of the game to other players (who use the add-on), allow you to perform speeches and emotes to NPC's ...etc.

The next version, TRP2, has been planed for Cataclysm.

HOW TO INSTALL ?

In your Shinobi Story directory, there's a file called "Interface". In that same file is another one called "AddOns" or something in that variation. All you have to do is "Open the archive you downloaded earlier and drop its content in [AddOns]". If everything went according to instructions, when launching your game, on the character selection screen, Total RP will appear in your addons list.

And here's how to use and set up TotalRP 2, for those that have never used it before.

Here's the basic interface you get to when you click the little seal face icon. Click the two boxes to edit them. As for the other two things, you can set your RP status to In Character or Out of Character, and set your level of roleplay experience under 'roleplay training'.

Next up is the 'directory', the silhouette on the left hand side:

The way you fill this in is by clicking on the parchment and ink at the bottom right. After clicking the scroll and ink again to save any changes to that menu, other people will see your character's page like this:

 

The second left hand menu, the muscular green arm, is for character descriptions. The head, personality. The scroll, background (I recommend using this for information that would be readily known about your character).

The 'states' section is tricky to summarize, but in essence it can be chalked up to things which people can notice about your character at a glance. You can pick a few from a premade list, or create your own through the creations function in the top right menu, but I recommend just using the premade ones unless you really feel like finagling for a while.

Here's an example of a set of completed and filled in parts of an RP profile:

When other players mouseover Akiriguy, here's the first thing they see in the tooltip on the right hand side:

And here's how you see other players' profiles:

When you select another player, you'll see this handshake icon appear between your two unit frames. To access their RP profile, click the handshake, select 'add profile'. From there, you'll be able to select 'sheet' from the same handshake icon. That will bring their RP profile up.

Once you've clicked that, their RP profile will appear, and you can peruse it at your leisure!

As for this other interface that TRP gives you, I recommend that you just X out of it, really.
