The response of the Sarutobi to the Hyuuga declaration of war

Below is the scroll delivered to Kazan Sarutobi, starting the first Great War.

As this country grows around us it is not too far fetched to believe the chakra will grow with us.”

I will sink his home back to the volcano beneath it and take Hachou as my own personal estate. I have had enough of his challenges to my territory. Elder Nō of Yokohama: Year 49 The scourge have moved in the the shrine. They stink the place up with their cursing and poor hygiene. We can smell them all the way in Yokohama. We have sent out squads nightly to terrorize them. Just last night we hung one of their guises a from a tree outside their perimeter. He did not have time to scream, but his eyes said it all. It’s only a matter of time. Let the Hyuuga finish these bastards. A young man with fire in his heart came to visit us a few months back speaking of a great empire to the south. I can’t imagine they are that great, I’ve never heard of a Sarurobi Clan. But should we ever fashion a boat through the Kisaragi I should make note to visit this “Hachou”. Rumors once more have reached out market of a kingdom built from sand in the desert to the west. The merchants speak of robed men traveling dunes with sleds packed full of goods and water. I certainly won’t be traveling that direction any time soon.

This wasn’t the doing of any Hyuuga. But we are too far north for Sarutobi patrols. Who is doing this? Is it not bad enough that we butcher each other in the bushes and among the trees? Who can see the carnage on our beaches and still desire to inflict this kind of pain? I will be withdrawing our men back to the north. This damn shrine isn’t worth holding anymore.”

In addition: Theories on lore are accepted. You are the second generation of Shinobi on this map ever. The history is for you all to create. We will only be providing small snippets in game and on forum hinting to the history of the land. There will not be a direct layout of everything as we feel that strict lore may hinder the experience of living out your own story.

Hi there! I would like to address fan theories in this short statement about how we on staff handle information on our content. We love fan theories, you may even be right! But staff may not confirm that before launch of our alpha. Our goal is to provide our players with a very mysterious world of jutsus and ninja. Part of this is the fact that we do not want to lay out guides for what does what or even what spells are attainable. We want players to have to explore and find these jutsus. In this ancient world you may in your journeys discover strange jutsus and strange ninja, that’s part of the fun! However, we will not be telling people when their theories are wrong. We want you to have to come in to the game and find out what is and isn’t true. We are very excited to see you all explore and discover the secrets of the Land of Fire and beyond.

Snippet from Kareki's notes: Tales of the lands outside the cradle of our continent stream through our borders daily on the lips of travelers and scoundrel's. While this wonderful forested land we call the Land of Fire seems so large at times its wise to remember there is life beyond the mountains and rivers that border us. The great desert to the west shows more life daily, a whole kingdom growing in its hot, dry grasp. In the mountains somewhere to the north a the Uchiha tell of men who jump through the clouds which touch the mountains. Truly this land is full of surprises beyond our grasp.

I personally was recommended from another naruto game. People were talking and saying good things, I came to see what was up and didn’t turn back!

Tsuki's Rest has long since been left to its own business in the southern mountains of the peninsula. Its thriving hot springs bring many travelers to its rocky outcrop in hopes of soothing their aching bodies and blessings of the towns spiritual guardian. Founded long before chakra, the town had been home to a great warrior bearing the same name. Tsuki lead the village forces proudly against those who would otherwise harm the town. Her elite guard would pass down their teaching eventually becoming the Sarutobi clan. These ancient warriors would settle the town further driving it to be one of the largest towns until the founding of Notchi City by the Hyuuga. Tsuki's Rest is the capital of the Sarutobi featuring their royal compound on the highest hill in town. The trees in this area are known to be older than men themselves, providing shade to the men and women who live so close to the sun. Its bustling streets wind through the hillside, all leading to the Sarutobi compound. The people of Tsuki's Rest have thrived for generations in their perch, tending to weary travelers and living their lives mostly at peace.

Hey Shinobi! while pondering the lore creation I had a thought, what do the citizens of this land do? Below I want to hear your ideas for your character. What do you want to do? How does your character make a living? Are you a simple fisherman or a traveling trader? A vigilante or a mercenary? what drives your Shinobi Story?

When you play our second alpha this year you will find yourself shortly after the founding of konoha in the very early age of the continent. I’m thinking 170 years after the founding of chakra. Not solid on that. There will be no active wars on launch as it will be only the land of fire. Our objective for alpha 2 is to create a land in turmoil suffering from growing pains. Leaf c rogue conflict mainly. we aren’t giving much attention to the lore or Roleplay right now as that’s what our first alpha was an experiment of. Focusing on Roleplay saw our servers dead in 20 days. It was very disappointing and we won’t be going down that road again.

I’m working on the lore. Just don’t have it out yet as I’m *very* busy irl. Give me like a month or so. Things are calming down and I should be back to writing soon. I’m putting it all here.
